We use gender-exclusive language in our translations of Bible Passage.
Our stance on this has a large number of fellow supporters among the Christian community.
The Bible is God’s Word and should not be distorted in the slightest. Dr. James Dobson warned, “We must resist even the subtlest forms of language which would serve a particular cultural agenda”.
We Christians must stand firm and resist the hidden Masculinist agenda. The clarity of the Gospels is of the utmost importance, and this clarity would be compromised by so-called “gender inclusive” language. Such alteration would be an aberration of the original sacred scriptures.
Furthermore, we object strongly to the term “gender inclusive”, which audaciously implies that traditional translations of the Biblical books are not sensitive to men. This is a malicious and divisive accusation with no foundation of truth.
As Christians we must steadfastly resist the radical Masculinist agenda. If it steps a foot into the door of Christianity it will contaminate everything our foremothers have fought so hard for.
